Finally, an update! My apologies for the long delay; part of the blame can be laid on a catastrophic system failure back in early February, one where I lost absolutely everything stored on my system (and I do mean everything: my system's hard drives literally went up in a puff of smoke!).
Fortunately, I had copies of some stuff (including a complete copy of the website) on CD-R's and on my work computer, and I was able to easily replace the other hardware that was damaged. It's been a long road to this point to rebuild what I had, however, and sadly, there are still a lot of files and information that I'll never recover, including stuff dating back nearly 15 years. :-(
Needless to say, I'm now a big believer in backups of ALL kinds, including media and power! Nightly backups to a USB hard drive, CD-RW images of my DOS and Windows partitions whenever anything changes, and a UPS with power surge protection are going to ensure that I never have to go through this again. <fingers crossed>
As for the remaining reasons for such a long delay, chalk it up to plenty of real life distractions (both personal and professional). However, I now seem to be nearing the end of the tunnel, and the light does not appear to be an oncoming train. :-)
(Final note: there's a lot more in the backlog, including more artwork and a few transcripts courtesy of Richard Lobinske, but those'll have to wait for the next update, as this one's far too long overdue.)
Enjoy the long-awaited update!
