Oct 30 Happy Halloween, everyone! Wow... when I put out a call for submissions, I never expected this! Maybe I should do this every week... :-)

Seriously, we've got a ton of fresh new fanfic for your reading pleasure, with several of them in the spirit of the holiday (shown below in red). Aug 12 This update sees the addition of Deref and Thea Zara to the Recommended Authors list, largely on the strength of their wonderful "All My Children" series. Congratulations!

Also note that there were more things on tap for this release, but they'll have to wait thanks to ongoing problems with my DSL connection (I uploaded this update from work). One way or another, I'll have this situation resolved soon, either by getting SBC/Ameritech off their asses to fix my DSL line or by switching to Comcast cable Internet (same price, faster speed; might be the way to go, eh?).

May 25 I'm lifting the "no partial stories" requirement for fanfic submissions. I figured that since there were very few stories being submitted these days, it wasn't really fair to make authors of multi-part stories wait until every chapter was finished before allowing them to submit it. So, authors, fire away!

By the same token, I'm going to start updating more frequently, even if there are only one or two new items in the update. This should get stuff out to you more quickly, so you won't have to wait weeks (or months) between updates.

Mar 25 I've recently received several e-mails regarding fanfics that have been submitted but never posted. If this applies to you, assume that I never got them, so please re-submit them. Remember, I only accept PLAIN TEXT and HTML files -- NO MICROSOFT WORD .DOC FILES! -- as well as links to off-site stories. (Be sure to include a short description, too.)

Mar 9 A moderately-sized update to catch up on some fanfic, including some old submissions that somehow managed to slip through the cracks (humblest apologies, authors!). This includes four stories from Voice Of My, who, sadly, passed away last year.

Feb 29 Yeah, I know... I haven't updated in months, this update is pretty thin in the skin, where the hell have I been, etc. Things like that happen when you get very few submissions because people think you aren't updating, which causes updates to be fewer, which causes even more people to think you aren't updating, and soon it becomes one of those viscious things! ("Where will it end, Daria? Where will it end?") Unfortunately, that just may end up being the pattern for a while, so you should probably get used to it. I'm still not going anywhere, though, so DON'T PANIC!!!
