Happy 10th Anniversary, Daria!
It was March 3, 1997, that the first episode of Daria, "Esteemsters," was first broadcast on MTV. 65 episodes, two TV movies, and ten years later, Daria is as fresh and funny (and poignant and insightful, and sometimes just downright silly) as ever, and its fandom is still alive and kickin', and though it may be slowing a little, it's showing no signs of stopping.
Of course, Our Heroine would probably disdain any anniversary celebrations as stupid and unnecessary... but then, there is her behavior in "Sappy Anniversary" to convince us otherwise. :-)
