Forever Sleeping Beauty

An 'Iron Chef' Daria fan fiction by Brother Grimace

This fic was inspired by Angelinhel. In her 'Iron Chef' challenge, she presented the following paragraph:

Stacy Rowe was considered a mousy, quiet girl in high school. That all changed when she went to college and people were nice to her. She made lots of friends and even met a wonderful boy! As luck would have it he was rich and they fell in love and got married right after they both graduated with really good grades. Stacy's life was perfect. She had supportive friends and a loving family. Since they were rich, she spent her time helping the less fortunate and raising her kids. Yes, life was blissfully wonderful.

One day Stacy awoke to her picture-perfect world, devoid of any strife...

The challenge is to finish the paragraph in any way that the writer sees fit, with no restrictions anyway.

One day Stacy awoke to her picture-perfect world, devoid of any strife...

... and as she began to rise, noticed the perfect beauty of the small splash of scarlet just below the gentle swell of her left breast. Her mouth opened in a delicate manner as she watched the color began to grow across the front of her gown...

"Oh," she said. "So pretty..."

An unusual touch of light from the window drew her attention; Stacy's eyes flicked over to see the unusual flickering of sunlight made as it passed through the tiny, thread-thin cracks made around the small hole that certainly wasn't there moments ago, as the warm morning rays drew her from sleep...

"So pretty..."

Her eyes remained open as she fell back gently into the warm depression her body had made in sleep, and Stacy Rowe died without another sound.

Stacy's body was not discovered for another six hours. The servants, knowing how hard Stacy worked to help others, felt it was only right that she be allowed a few extra hours of sleep.
