The May 3, 1999 edition of Greg Evans' syndicated comic strip Luann includes a small Daria reference. One of the kids depicted in the second panel (the blonde girl in the foreground) is wearing a T-shirt with Daria's likeness on it. The other cartoon characters depicted in the panel are Bart Simpson (The Simpsons), Angelica (Rugrats), Stan Marsh (South Park), Snoopy (Peanuts), and Mickey Mouse (on the cap).
